We offer patterns in all wallcovering materials. Our patterns include both machine print and hand print products in vintage style. Our wallcoverings are made in the USA and/or Canada, England, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, and Asia.

Many of our wallpaper patterns are discontinued and vintage or retro-style. The good news is because they have vinyl coating they are easy to clean and do not require special handling or unique paste.

We are known for our in-stock supply of grasscloth wallpaper in many color hues and textures. Our stock also includes a large number of vintage-style Floral Wallpaper, Kitchen Wallpaper, Bathroom Wallpaper and Children’s Wallpaper patterns to chose from.

Our store sells Wallpaper sidewalls, borders, murals and decals. Borders are not easy to find but we have a large in-stock supply.

Yes, we also sell Wall Liner.

Heavy duty wall liner is great for applying over sand finish plaster, cement block, v-grooved paneling and other problem walls prior to installing wallpaper/wallcovering. Wall liner is a great base for new wallcoverings to be applied to problem walls. It covers cracks, rough spots, cement blocks and paneling. Refer to the Installation Tips page for more information. Wall liner provides a new-wall surface for all wallpaper sidewalls and is perfect for smooth, non-textured patterns.

We also sell adhesives, pastes, water trays, smoothers, etc. and other supplies for a perfect install.

Wallpaper enhances a room and adds warmth, texture and the chance to make a design statement.

Wallpaper is also friendly to the earth. It contains no toxic chemicals, does not use harsh solvents, and is produced in a way to reduce climate impact. It does not have a strong odor. Most wallcoverings do not use petro-chemicals.

Materials like grasscloth are all natural and grown in sustainable forests and fields.

You can wash and scrub Wallpaper. Plus, new features make it easy to install and de-install. Used as a statement wall, behind book cases, in a picture frame or covering the walls of a room, wallcovering/wallpaper makes a room really stand out.

Yes. Three different solutions allow you to hang wallpaper over surfaces as rough as cinderblock, stucco, or paneling.

1. A fabric-back vinyl wallcovering pattern.
2. Commercial wall liner.
3. Textured and paintable wallpaper.

Of these three methods, wall liner offers the most protection against rough surface bleed through. See the Installation Guide section for more detail about wall liner which comes in varied sizes and thickness.

Yes. We can produce custom wallpaper in your color choice as well as create new designs per your own ideas or most exciting of all–We can create murals or wallcoverings from digital camera images. Think of the choices–a mural of a favorite beach with softly lapping waves on a wall behind your bed or bath.

We have over 4000 in-stock patterns of vintage-style floral, kitchen, bathroom, children’s, textured, damask, toile. stripes, checks/plaids, etc. wallpaper. Only a small portion of our inventory appears for Purchase-On-Line. So, please contact us for custom color and pattern searches.

No. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a purchase from our online store. Simply select your pattern and quantity and follow the order links. At the end of the process you will have the chance to use a major credit card or Venmo for your purchase, even if you do not have a PayPal account.You will be able to charge your credit card directly without going through PayPal. The new enhanced PayPal interface also allows for a Buy Now, PayLater plan. This is especially helpful when making costly purchases.

All major credit cards plus PayPal plus Venmo are accepted payment methods. Our payment system is totally secure and adheres to the most up to date security guidelines. We look forward to receiving your order.

We Do Not Charge a Restocking Charge. We accept returns of unopened rolls within 30 days of delivery date. Please contact us and notify us of your desire to return the item. We will provide return shipping information. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. The item(s) needs to be properly packaged to minimize damage and needs to be shipped via Priority Mail with tracking information.

A full refund (excluding shipping costs) will be issued via PayPal once the item is received back in good condition.

In order to minimize the need for a return please request a small (2″ x 2″) FREE pattern sample in advance if an exact color match is required. We also offer large format (8″ x 10″) samples for a fee. Please refer to our Samples Product Category for further information. Click HERE to be connected to the Samples section. Note: Samples are available for almost all of our patterns but there are a few patterns for which we are not able to offer samples. In those case we will try our best to provide additional photos to help you make your purchase decision.

If the product is damaged in shipping please take photos of the outside packaging and the damage to the product. Photos are critical. Please send those photos to us immediately at sales@fortheloveofwallpaper.com.

If, once the package is opened, and the installer notices a defect in the product that was not previously visible, take pictures of the defect and send the photos to us at sales@fortheloveofwallpaper.com. Do not proceed with installation of the product. We are not responsible for any installation costs incurred due to a faulty product. All of our products are First Grade Quality and we do a visual examination prior to shipping although such a visual review does not reveal a potential pattern dye defect, for example. However, such defects are extremely rare. In over a century of business we have had very few product defects. All professional installers know to stop a job immediately if they notice any product defects.

Whether there is damage or a manufacturing defect we will respond as quickly as possible and will develop a custom response plan to satisfy the buyer.

Maybe. Many of our patterns are discontinued and the stock we have in our store is the only supply of that particular pattern. For this reason we always encourage purchase of at least one extra (double) roll of paper or pack of border. To ensure you have enough material to complete your installation plus some extra for possible future repairs.
